Ford needs donations to pay for Bluffs fireworks show
Observers say it was one of the largest crowds ever for the 37th annual Scottsbluff fireworks show on the campus of WNCC Thursday night. But the organizer Tracy Ford still needs your help in paying for it.
Ford told KNEB News he has collected less than a thousand dollars for a display that costs him an estimated ten thousand dollars to do.
A number of people watched the show from areas adjacent to the college but also in the K-Mart and Monument Mall parking lots while setting off fireworks of their own.
Ford says he doesn't have the manpower anymore to take a bucket around to the campus areas and the parking lots to collect free will donations for the show. So he relies on mailed in donations.
Those wishing to help Ford out may send there donations to Scottsbluff Fireworks Fund, P.O. Box 271, Scottsbluff, Nebraska 69363
