27th Street paving begins Wednesday

Paving of 27th Street will begin Wednesday, according to Scottsbluff Public Works Director Mark Bohl.

Motorists have been traveling over the milling that was required prior to the overlay of the street, causing slowing and some issues at intersection because the milling brought the street level down 3". But Bohl says that will begin to change Tuesday afternoon when Simon Contractors begins patching holes prior to the paving tomorrow.

Bohl says the paving process will take approximately two weeks to complete, and then permanent markings and striping will take place and the project should be finished.
