Lillian E. Diedrichsen, 58, Scottsbluff

Lillian E. Diedrichsen, 58, of Scottsbluff, died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Heritage Estates in Gering. Her private graveside funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Bayard Cemetery with Pastor Bev Russell officiating. There is no visitation scheduled. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lillian's memory to the Festival of Hope or to the donor's choice.

Lillian was born July 1, 1955 in Scottsbluff to Clifford and Mabel (Cuplin) Diedrichsen. She received her education and graduated from Bayard High School. She attended Chadron State College. She was the school librarian in Oshkosh for 11 years and in Minatare Public Schools for 23 years. She spent a total of 35 years in education until her retirement in 2012. She was a class and activity sponsor most of those years. She lived in Bayard most of her life and was a member of the Bayard Methodist Church until she moved to Scottsbluff transferring her membership to the Methodist Church in Scottsbluff.

Lillian is survived by her loving aunt, Leona Diedrichsen; special friend, Dorothy Fox; aunts, Esther Melose, Agnes Reggel and Dolcie Engh; uncle, Paul (Helen) Cuplin and numerous cousins and a host of friends.

Her parents and uncle, Orrin Diedrichsen preceded her in death.
