Milton L. Sundin, 83, Harrisburg

Milton L. Sundin, 83, of Harrisburg, entered into eternity, July 22, 2013 at his home in Banner County, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday July 27, at the Mitchell Event Center with Stanley Morrison, Edwina Carlson, Joyce Tuttle and Dena Keever officiating, cremation will follow and burial will be at a later date. Public visitation will be Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel.

Milton was born to Victor and Hazel (Stenholm) Sundin April 28, 1930 at Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. He graduated from Pine Bluffs High School in 1948. He chose to serve the Lord during his high school years, which he has honored all his life. Milt worked with his family on the farm near Lindbergh, Wyoming until being inducted into the US Army in October 1951. He trained as a medic at Ft Sam Huston, Texas. He married Joan Schuebel in Gering, Nebraska on March 8, 1952. After Milt was discharged from the army, they returned to Wyoming where he farmed with his father and brother. Milt and Joan moved to the farm in the Hull community in Banner County in 1956, where they have lived until present time.

Milt is survived by his wife, Joan; daughters, Susan (George) Williams of Saratoga, Wyoming, Polly (Kenneth) Swayne of Gordon, Nebraska, Karen (Dave) Wisseman of Lusk, Wyoming, and Carolyn Jane (Bruce) Filener of Lusk, Wyoming; brother, Carl (Nancy) Sundin of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming; sisters, Anna (Stuart) Scranton of San Diego, California and Mildred McKenna of Bellevue, Washington; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Sundin of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and bother -in-law, Kenneth (Leta) Schuebel of Cody, Wyoming; 11grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert and infant brother, Victor; mother-and father-in-law, Bill and Aleta Schuebel; brother -in law, Joe McKenna and son-in-law, Brad Frohbieter.
