Four arrested in drug busts in Chadron and Sidney

The WING anti-drug task force says a missing juvenile call early Monday morning in Chadron eventually led to drug arrests in Chadron and an investigation in Sidney, two more people were arrested.

Held in the Dawes County jail on $50,000 bond are18-year old Brody Gramberg of Chadron and a 17-year old boy from Scottsbluff, whose name has not been released. They face felony charges of Possession of MDMA...more often called Ecstasy or Molly...and Possession and Delivery of LSD as well as a marijuana infraction.

Nebraska State Patrol Sgt Dana Korell, commander of the WING Task Force, says when Chadron officers went to a residence Monday morning in response to the missing juvenile call, they found the missing teen but also smelled the odor of marijuana.

While the missing juvenile was transported to Chadron Community Hospital and treated for LSD chemical toxicity before being released, authorities obtained and served a search warrant at the residence.
Seized were Psilocybin mushrooms, an unknown white powdery substance, less than an ounce of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a scale, and packaging material frequently used with marijuana.
Sgt Korell says the initial investigation and search warrant allowed WING investigators to set up the purchase of ten hits of LSD. After the buy, assisted by Chadron officers and the State Patrol, they arrested Gramberg and the 17-year old from Scottsbluff.

On Wednesday, WING investigators served three more search warrants, one on a Ford Explorer belonging to the 17 year old, one on a Dodge Durango belonging to Granberg, and one on an apartment in Chadron. They seized more suspected drugs...LSD and MDMA...and a marijuana pipe in the juvenile's SUV while Gramberg's yielded less than an ounce of marijuana as well as marijuana pipes and paraphernalia.

Sgt Korell says the investigation continued in Chadron late into Wednesday evening and led authorities to the Sidney area, where a subsequent search warrant was served by local authorities and WING.

Arrested were 31 year old Jennifer Cartwright and 30 year old Walter Fischer, both of Sidney, for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
