Local Auto dealers get dinged again

Local auto dealers are assessing damage to their inventory after yet another damaging hail storm.

Sales Manager Mike Craft says an estimated 80% of the 400 cars on the lots of Reganis Auto Center and Reganis Honda had damage. Craft says the damage was not as severe as previous storms. No windows were busted out, but windshields and side mirror glass was damaged. The damaged cars had the usual dents and dings from hail. He says they will fix what they can, and discount the damaged cars.

Jeff Brock, the general sales manager at Team Chevrolet, says even with roofs over most of the vehicles, approximately fifty cars that were facing to the south and west had minor dings to the hoods.

At Fremont Motors, they had damage to vehicles , but they were still assessing it Wednesday.
