Local man charged with terrorizing Gering family
A Gering man who threatened to kill his former girlfriend and her family in a disturbance that involved a fight and the wielding of a knife has been charged with two counts of felony terroristic threats.
Court documents say 23 year old Alejandro Gauna is accused of threatening his estranged girlfriend last Tuesday when he came home after visiting his one year old son at a neighbor's house. Police said Gauna told the woman he was going to take his son and forcibly kept her from leaving the house while wielding a knife and threatening to kill himself.
Police say after the victim was able to get out the back door, Gauna got into a fight with her father, threw rocks at her car and repeatedly said he was going to kill the family.
auna is being held on $50,000 bond with a ten percent cash provision.
