5 of 8 students injured in crash ID'd

The Broken Bow Public Schools has released the identity of five of the eight students injured in a head-on collision of a pickup and a ten-passenger school van Friday.

The accident killed 24-year-old Anthony Blum and 38-year-old Zane Harvey. Blum was the Broken Bow head basketball coach and a first year coach and teacher with the school. Harvey has been with the school for 14 years.

70-year-old Albert Sherbeck of Ansley, driver of the pickup, was also killed.

According to the school, Hunter Campbell was flown from the Broken Bow hospital to Kearney for treatment and released early this morning after being treated for cuts and bruises and being checked for a possible neck injury.

Marcus Miller has been treated and released from the hospital in Kearney.

Lane Albus was treated and released from the Broken Bow hospital yesterday following the accident.

Grayson Minnick was treated and released from the Broken Bow hospital yesterday following the accident.

Austin Reynolds remains in the hospital in Kearney with a broken femur and broken elbow.

Details of the other three students involved in the accident are not being released at this time.
