Bridgeport Ethanol receives safety award
Bridgeport, NE, - Bridgeport Ethanol, LLC receives 2012 ERI Safety Award of Honor. The Award of Honor is presented to the top performing ethanol producer in the ERI Safety Group in the areas of Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), Workers Compensation frequency/severity and most recent safety audit score.

Bridgeport Ethanol, LLC has been producing ethanol and wet distiller's grain, used as cattle feed, for nearly five years. Ethanol produced at this facility can be transported nationwide, but is most often shipped by rail to the west coast and by truck to Colorado, South Dakota and Nebraska facilities. Wet distiller's grain is shipped by truck to area feedlots in Western Nebraska. Bridgeport Ethanol, LLC employs approximately 30 employees. The facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
