Weapons charges filed against two local men

Two local men are in custody for threatening people with a pistol in unrelated incidents over the weekend.

One of the men is 78 year old Alvin Walker, who was arrested by the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's office Sunday after pointing a gun at the 33 year old owner of a pit bull at Walker's Bellevue trailer park. The court document says Walker actually cocked the gun at one time and pointed the pistol at the other individual. Walker was arrested for use of a firearm to commit a felony, terroristic threats and disturbing the peace.

32 year old Randy Rohde of Scottsbluff was arrested by a Sheriff's Deputy Friday for use of a firearm to commit a felony and terroristic threats. Court documents say that Rohde threatened another man with a pistol, allegedly because the man had threatened his girlfriend with a gun April 26th.

Both men will make their initial appearances in Scotts Bluff County Court Monday.
