Barraza admitted to hospital following arrest

A missing person in the custody of the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's office for stealing a pickup from a home at the Minatare feedlot was listed in fair condition Thursday at Regional West Medical Center.

19 year old Anthony Barraza of Gering had deep cuts to his wrists and a stab wound to his chest when he was arrested Wednesday morning for stealing a pickup from a home at the feedlot. The wounds are believed to be self inflicted. Barraza will face charges for stealing the pickup when he is released from the hospital.
