Police following up on new information in MaGee death
Scottsbluff Police Captain Brian Wasson says they followed up on some new information provided by Ralph MaGee's sister this past week, but added at the moment there is nothing that would lead to an arrest.
The 49 year old MaGee died August second last year after being severely beaten. MaGee's body was found by Cirrus House staff in his independent living apartment on the east side of Scottsbluff. Scotts Bluff County Attorney Doug Warner has said the cause of death was a broken neck due to blunt force trauma. Authorities estimate the time of death from 11:30 p.m. Monday, August 1st to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday morning August 2nd , when the body was discovered.
Wasson told KNEB News today they have conducted some interviews from the information others shared with Kathy Flippin, and are still following up on the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call Scottsbluff Police at 630-6261 or Crimestoppers at 632-STOP.
