Truck driver taken out of service after I-80 accident
A Valentine truck driver was taken out of service after an accident just after midnight Thursday morning on I-80 four miles east of the Kimball interchange.
34 year old J.W. Graham was westbound at 12:40 a.m. when his semi veered to the right side of the lane, taking out many delineator posts and a traffic sign. The Nebraska State Patrol says Graham overcorrected into the left lane and landed on the right side of the tractor sliding approximately 50 yards.
The semi was totaled. Seat belts were not in use and Graham and his 9 year old son were taken to the Kimball hospital for minor injuries. Graham was taken out of service due to too many hours in his log book.
