Pony Express Re-Ride to move through Panhandle Wednesday

The National Pony Express Association's annual Re-ride is underway after starting from California last week and will arrive in St. Joseph, MO on Saturday. Lyle Gronewold is the State President for the association. He says a mochilla will be passed from rider to rider as they move through.

The Pony Express operated from 1860 to 1861. The Re-ride follows as close as possible to the former Pony Express trail. The riders will be at the state line in Henry Wednesday at 8 a.m. and are expected to be at the Scotts Bluff National Monument at 10:30 a.m.
