Nobody was injured when a delivery truck caught fire and spread to a nearby convenience store in Crawford.

The fire, which began in a delivery truck parked in front of the Saddlerock One Stop on Highway 20 in Crawford, was reported about 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon. The fire then spread to the convenience store before Crawford fire units were able to extinguish the blaze.

The truck was a total loss, and heavy fire damage was visible to the front of the building.

There is no word on when the store will reopen. The city has its annual Fourth of July Celebration through the weekend.
