Alliance woman needs help after pumpkin patch theft

An Alliance woman is distraught over the theft of pumpkins from her pumpkin patch.

Jo "Grandma" Gress says that her pumpkin patch near the Alliance Dairy Queen was raided about two weeks ago.

She says most of the pumpkins she was growing for a local pre-school, which has her particularly upset.

Gress is looking for the public to donate up to sixty pumpkins for the school, basketball or soccer size, with extra pumpkins donated to other pre-schools. Gress says if you would like to donate pumpkins, give her a call at 406-694-3563.
