California man wanted for passing counterfeit bills in Chadron
Chadron Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 35 year old California man accused of passing twenty dollar counterfeit bills in Chadron. Jeffrey Walsh has been identified as the suspect in the passing of $800 in counterfeit bills recovered by Police. The bills are believed to have been passed August 17th.
Following a joint investigation by local state and federal agencies, Chadron Police say a search warrant was issued at an address in Hot Springs, South Dakota. Police believe he left the area and the arrest warrant on three felony theft and fraud counts and a misdemeanor theft charge was issued.
