Betty Arlene Breeden, 80

Funeral services for BETTY ARLENE BREEDEN, 80, will be held at 2pm on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lingle. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday prior to the funeral at noon until service time. Betty died on January 30, 2014 at a nursing home in Rawlins, Wyoming. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions to either the Denver Children's Hospital or to Torrington Waggin' Tails animal shelter. Betty was born on January 24, 1934 in Gering, Nebraska the daughter of Frank and Maxine (Elmer) Ross. The family moved to Torrington, Wyoming where Betty received her education; graduating Torrington High School in 1950. She married Ray Ludeman and they later divorced. On May 15, 1975, Betty married Pete Breeden in Sheridan, Wyoming and the couple lived in Wheatland, Douglas, Guernsey and Cheyenne, Wyoming. Betty was a van driver for BNSF Railroad and following her husband's death in 2002, Betty settled in Guernsey for several years.

Betty enjoyed crafts, knitting, singing, gardening, sewing, and country music. She was a member of the Baptist church.

She is survived by two sisters, Dolores McClure of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Frani Murry of Brady, Nebraska ; an aunt Louella Ross of Cheyenne; and good friend, Sharon Servantez of Guernsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Arthur Ross, and a sister Rose Arndt.
