Box Butte Co. Fair Donations Continue

The Box Butte County Fair's new livestock pavilion has received another sizable monetary donation.

Kelley Bean Company donated $5,000 yesterday (Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013) in a ceremony held at the 4-H office in Alliance.

Company Chairman of the Board Bob Kelley credits his local manager from bringing the importance of supporting the project to the forefront of the company.

Kelley says since Kelley Bean is an agriculture business, supporting the fair is also a natural.

The livestock pavilion has not far from completion. The building is enclosed and has full electrical power. Showers and bathrooms are now being built.

The nearly half-million dollar project is over 75% paid for. Fair Board President John Annen estimates that another $60,000 to $100,000 is needed to have the building paid in full.
