Jason L. Sauer, Bayard
Jason entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 24, 2013. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a vigil service on Thursday, June 27, 7:00 pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bayard. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Bayard High School Auditorium on Friday, June 28 at 10:30 am. A memorial fund in honor of Jason's daughter, Annabel, has been established at Valley Bank for her future education. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.bbchapels.com. Jason was born April 28, 1977 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, a beloved son of Louie and Betty (Wood) Sauer. He attended Bayard High School and graduated in 1996. Following High School, with his partner and brother, Brian, formed Sauer Brothers LLC where they operated and farmed with the family. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Camp Clarke Raiders Black Powder Gun Club.
Jason was united in marriage to Megan Dobrinski on July 28, 2007. The jewel of his life, Annabel, was born on April 4, 2008. Jason had a love for music, avid golfer, and sports fanatic. He enjoyed most being with his family and countless friends. He had a very kind heart and touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Megan and daughter Annabel; Parents, Louie and Betty Sauer; brother, Brian (Mandy) Sauer all of Bayard; sister Diane (Tom) Galway of Denver, CO; Parent In-Laws: Nancy (LeRoy) Eichthaler and Leonard (Sandy) Dobrinski, all of Bridgeport; Grandmother In-law, Leona Dobrinski of Bridgeport. Sister-in-laws: Mandy (Marty) Dalimata of Broadwater, Melody (Andrew) Leisy, Misty (Garrett) Dobrinski all Bridgeport; Step-brother-in-law, Todd (Cody) Eichthaler of Bridgeport; Step-sister-in-law, Laurie Eichthaler of Scottsbluff. Nieces and Nephews: Haley, Sierra, and Ben Sauer of Bayard, Gretta Galway of Denver, CO; Jessica, Kassidy, Kyle Kildow, Scott, Paige and Logan Dalimata of Broadwater; Drew and Dixon Leisy, Jenna and Taylor Eichthaler all of Bridgeport, Ryan Eichthaler of Lincoln, and Tyler Eichthaler of Scottsbluff; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
