Phone outage expensive for Scottsbluff company
A continuing outage involving Century Link cost a Scottsbluff business a lot of money.
Owner Peggy Wells at Brown Sheep Company says they were without phone and internet service until mid-morning Wednesday despite the company's assertion everything was repaired Tuesday.
The outage, which began on Thursday when another contractor cut Century Link's line, cost Brown Sheep $10-15,000 a day in business they receive over the phone, according to Wells.
Wells said one of the biggest frustrations about the outage was not being able to explain the seriousness of the situation to a local person.
