Doris R. (Richter) Moore, 63, Scottsbluff
Doris R. (Richter) Moore, 63, of Scottsbluff, passed away May 14, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Scottsbluff after a long fight with several illnesses. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Eagles Lodge in Gering. Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes.
Doris was born March 17, 1950 in Mitchell to Kenneth and Rosella (Kelley) Richter. She attended school and graduated from Mitchell High.
Doris worked in the meat packing industry for several years. She was a member of Amalgalmated Meat Cutter Union. Doris also worked with the handicapped for several years at Omar in Scottsbluff and owned and operated the Red Barn Diner from 1989 till 1999.
Survivors include her sons, Fred (Theresa) Evans of Scottsbluff and Joseph (Kayla) Moore of Minatare; daughter, Amanda (Robert) Cashon of Scottsbluff; grandchildren, T.J. Evans, Khristina Carey, Kyliegh and Emily Cashon all of Scottsbluff; two great grandchildren; sisters, Betty (David) Chvala and Mary (Gerald) Pebley both of Gering; and brothers, Ron and Gerald Richter both of Scottsbluff.
Preceding Doris in death were her parents; and brothers, Kenneth, Robert, Joseph, Herbert and Vernon.
