Rose M. Arndt, 72

Funeral services for ROSE M. ARNDT, 72, will be held at 11am Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Curtis Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Lingle, Wyoming. Rose died March 2, 2013 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Montana. Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm to 7pm at the funeral home and the casket will be open briefly following the service. Rose was born April 30, 1940 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of Frank and Hattie (Elmer) Ross. She grew up and attended school in Torrington. She married Richard Arndt on June 1, 1957 and they had three children, Michael J. Arndt, Robin J. Miller, and Brian J. Arndt. Along with taking care of her family she worked at the Ft. Laramie National Historic Site and for twenty-two years she was employed by Amoco Oil Company Pipeline Division where she worked in Ft. Laramie, Wyoming and Denver, Colorado, and finally was transferred to Tulsa, Oklahoma. There she worked until 1999 when she retired and returned to Wyoming.

In childhood Rose attended dance studio and had many costumes. She enjoyed gardening when she had the time mainly flowers which she dearly loved.

Rose is survived by her husband Richard of Sheridan, Wyoming; two sons Michael J. Arndt of Joliet, Montana, and Brian J. Arndt of Sheridan; a daughter Robin J. Miller of Parkman, Wyoming; two grandchildren Tyler J. Miller and Paige Miller of Parkman; three sisters Delores McClure and her husband Kenneth of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Beatty Arlene Breeden of Wheatland, Wyoming, and Frani Murry and her husband Dennis of Brady, Nebraska; and many nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother Arthur J. Ross.
