Stovall arraigned in District Court
A 19 year old Scottsbluff man will face trial in September on two counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a minor after being arraigned in Scotts Bluff County District Court Thursday.
Jeremiah Stovall entered not guilty pleas to the charges, and will have a pretrial conference on September 18th with trial set for the September 29th jury term.
Stovall is accused of having sexual relations with a 15 year old girl. Stovall was taken into custody following an interview with Scottsbluff Police, who received a third party report of a sexual relationship between Stovall and the girl.
Court documents allege the two incidents occured in the Monument Mall parking lot and at Veterans Park in Scottsbluff. Both incidents allegedly occurred this month.
Stovall was being held $200,000 bond with a 10% cash provision. Judge Leo Dobrovolny granted a bond reduction in the case to $50,000 with a 10% cash provision.
