First State Bank Gift of Love kicks off
The 31st year of the First State Bank Gift of Love kicked off today (Thursday). Standing before the Tree of Names of needy children provided by CAPWN and their wish list items, the bank's Marketing Director Becca Tompkins invited everyone to come to this evening's after hours event and get involved.
First State Bank, CAPWN and the Valley Christian Neighbors In Need program provided food and gifts for over 300 families last year.
The Gift of Love program also includes the collection of canned goods by local schools picked up by the National Guard, the Truck of Love December 8th from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. in the First State Bank Scottsbluff parking lot and the Coats for Kids program at the bank locations in both Scottsbluff and Gering.
