Larry L. "Flopper" Anderson, 70, Scottsbluff

Larry L. "Flopper" Anderson, 70, of Scottsbluff, passed away Saturday, May, 18, 2013, at his home.

His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Matt Fowler officiating. At his request cremation has taken place at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory.

Larry was born February 25, 1943, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Ivan and Leona (Schildt) Anderson. He attended Scottsbluff Schools and graduated in 1961. He married Carol Morby, October 17, 1964, at the Scottsbluff Methodist Church. Larry graduated from Chadron State College with a degree in business in 1968.

After graduation, he began his career as a salesman with Liggett and Myers. The family later returned home to Scottsbluff where he was a salesman for D & H Electronics.

Larry was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and a life member of Elks Lodge No. 1367.

He is survived by his wife Carol; son, Nick of Morrill; daughter, Christine (Carl) Mesecher of Lincoln; and grandchildren, Branden Anderson and Savanna Anderson of Torrington, Wyoming and Holly Mesecher and Sara Mesecher of Lincoln.

His parents; and brother, Dennis preceded him in death.
