Jamilee K. Siegfried Henkel, 58, Bayard

Jamilee K Siegfried Henkel age 58 of Bayard, NE was called to her Heavenly home on December 20, 2012 after complications from surgery. Her memorial service will be held at 10am on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Bayard with Pastor George Naylor officiating. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, any memorials in Jamilee's honor be made in care of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or Faith Lutheran Preschool. Online condolences may be left and memorial candles may be lit in Jamilee's memory at www.jolliffefuneralhome.com.

Jami was born in Scottsbluff, NE to Edwin and DeeLore Siegfried on July 30, 1954. Jami graduated from Connell High School, Connell, WA. She married Dennis Henkel on September 14, 1974. From that union came two beautiful; daughters, Tori Deelyn and Haley Jane. Jami lived on their family farm and worked for Simplot in Bayard for over 20 years. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran church, she enjoyed playing the organ, directing the choir and teaching Sunday school. Spending time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, brought her much happiness. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and coworkers.

Jami is survived by her loving husband Dennis Henkel of Bayard, NE, daughter Tori (Gordia) Smith of Scottsbluff, NE; Haley (Nick) Ford of Gering, NE; grandchildren MolliJane and MayLee Smith; Olivia, Liam and Emma Ford; Mother, DeeLore Siegfried of Basin City, WA, sisters Shelly Siegfried of Bothell, WA, and Jane (Phil) Havens of Pasco, WA; sister-in-law Faye Siegfried of Basin City, WA; mother-in-law Evelyn Henkel of Scottsbluff, NE; sister-in-law Starla (Bart) Endsley of Alliance, NE; brother-in-law Wayne (Kris) Henkel of Bayard, NE; and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edwin Siegfried, brother, Gary Siegfried, father-in-law Dave Henkel.
