Reuben was born on January 30, 1958 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Benito and Trina (Romero) Trevino, and was the youngest of the bunch. He received his early education in Scottsbluff and attended Scottsbluff Senior High.

He did manual labor throughout his adult life. He taught himself how to play the guitar at an early age and since then always had a love for music. His favorite band was the "Moody Blues" with his favorite song being Your Wildest Dreams. He would often get together with his fellow musicians and have jam sessions in his home, often leading into the wee hours of the morning. Although his vision continued to deteriorate to the point to where he was unable to drive a car, Reuben refused to allow this to keep him from getting around his beloved town; hence, why we will always remember him as riding his bike around town.

He also had a cat (Bella Girl), whom he adored. Yes, Bella is a bilingual cat, being she understands Spanish and English. Bella is fortunate to remain in the family, heading north to South Dakota, where she will be adopted by Victor "Toro" Dominquez Jr. and his family, whom are also cat lovers.

Reuben is survived by his sons Jeremy and Zach; brothers Bennie (Vikki) Trevino of Gering, Gilbert (Carmen) Trevino of Mitchell, and Daniel Trevino of Chandler, AZ; sisters Bernice Dominguez and Cora (Rudy) Hernandez of Gering, Sarah Piña of Scottsbluff, and Mary (John) Maldonado of Colorado Springs, CO; 7 nephews, 6 nieces, 23 great nephews, 20 great nieces, 5 great-great nephews and 5 great- great nieces.

A special thank you to his niece Renee Malm, who was always there in the past for Reuben during times of need. Also, to his sister Bernice Dominquez, nephew Gilbert Dominguez and Prairie Haven Hospice, who recently provided extra loving care for Reuben at home during his final days.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father Trina and Benito Trevino, brother-in-law Henry Piña and niece Mallory Trevino.

Booba, you will always be missed and loved by all!
