Judy Ann Burcham, 62
Memorial services for JUDY ANN BURCHAM, 62, will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Chapel at St. Joseph's Childrens' Home with Rev. Father Ray Moss officiating. Burial will follow at the Valley View Cemetery. Judy died on April 1, 2013 at the Torrington Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions to St. Joseph's Childrens Home. Judy was born on July 19, 1950 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of Robert and Helen (Keller) Schlager. She grew up on a farm near Lingle, Wyoming and she received her education at the Lingle schools.
Judy married Richard "Dick" Burcham on August 12, 1967 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The couple then lived in Torrington where Judy worked as an Education Assistant for Goshen County School District #1 for 20 years. On January 14, 1991, Judy went to work at St. Joseph's Childrens Home as an Education Assistant and she was currently employed there at the time of her death.
Judy loved going to Deadwood, South Dakota where she enjoyed gambling.
She is survived by her husband, Dick; her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Greg Applegarth and her mother Helen Snow all of Torrington; two sisters, Debbie (Jack) Gibson of Lingle, Wyoming and Marsha Inskeep of Loveland, Colorado; a brother, Monte Schlager of Grand Junction, Colorado; her step mother, Doloris Schlager of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and a very special Aunt Elsie Schaneman of Torrington. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert and her brother, Randy Schlager
