Ruth A. Burbank, 90, Scottsbluff

Ruth A. Burbank, 90, of Scottsbluff passed away peacefully Friday, October 18 at Regional West Medical Center, with her son, John Lee by her side.

A graveside service is planned for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 22, at Fairview Cemetery with Father Phil Flott officiating. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel from 1-8 p.m. on Monday, October 21.

A memorial has been established to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Ruth was born on August 31, 1923 at New London, IA to William and Cleopha (Peiffer) Pfeiffer. She graduated from New London High School.

She raised two sons in California where she met Raleigh Burbank. She married Raleigh in August of 1966 in San Diego, CA and they moved to Scottsbluff in 1974, to start a new life together.

Ruth had a love for gardening and for many years has made her garden a beautiful place to share. She was a strong independent woman and most of her close family and friends refer to her as "spunky."

She is survived by her sons, John W. (Charme) Lee and Frank M. Lee; grandchildren, Ryan Lee and Daysha Barahura; and great-grandchildren Dylan and Jacob Barahura and Ryder Lee.

Preceeding her in death are her parents; sister, Helen; and husband, Raleigh.

She will always be loved and missed by her family.
