KNEB Expo set to begin Friday morning
The 28th Annual KNEB Farm and Ranch Expo will be held February 8th and 9th at the Scotts Bluff County Event Center in Mitchell Nebraska.
The hours will be Friday, the 8th from 9 to 6, Saturday, February 9th
from 9 to 3. There will be a free breakfast served Friday morning from 7 to 9, sponsored by Panhandle Co-op. , Farm Credit Services of America, 21st Century Equipment, and 21st Century Water Technologies. Nebraska Twister will be serving up concessions both days.
It will also be the 5th Annual Ugly Boot Contest sponsored by Brown's Shoe Fit, your ugly boots could help you win a $200.00 gift card for 1st place, $100.00 for second place and $50.00 for 3rd place. There will be free blood pressure and pulse checks, free colon cancer screening kits, also other vaccinations will be available for a fee, health booth provided by Scotts Bluff County Health Department & Regional West Community Health.
Ninety vendors will be a part of the show, with a variety of products and information, from over a 5 state region. We have a variety of new
vendors and vendors that have been at the show for several years. The Scottsbluff FFA Chapter will be offering free water testing on well water. There is no admission fee to get into the show, and you can register to win a Traeger Grill sponsored by Johnson Cashway on Friday, and on Saturday you can will $650 in cash to celebrate KNEB 960's 65th Anniversary.
Mariah Cook, Miss Nebraska will be at the show on Friday from 2 to 4, sponsored by Sears of Chadron and Scottsbluff. Saturday Miss Wyoming, and third runner up in the Miss America pagaent, Lexie Madden, will be at the show from 9 to 11 sponsored by Floyd's Truck Center. Bridgeport Native and Husker Football player, Jase Dean will be signing posters on Saturday from 10 to noon, his appearance sponsored Bar 64 Bridgeport Coop Station, Bridgeport Ampride and Bridgeport Crop Production, and Platte Valley Bank.
