Deion Craig Hitchcock, 16, Alliance

Deion Craig Hitchcock, 16, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Box Butte County as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born to Julie Hitchcock on March 26th, 1996 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He is the stepson of Lynn Louden. Deion was a junior at Alliance High School, and he previously attended Bridgeport High School. He also had lived in Farmington, New Mexico, Angora, and Reddington.

Deion looked forward to and enjoyed hunting and fishing especially with his uncle, best friend, and father figure Jeremy Hitchcock (aka "UNC"). He liked working with computers and playing the guitar. Art was an interest he shared with his mom. He enjoyed woodworking, welding, sharpening sickles, and playing pool with Lynn. He belonged to the Alliance High Art Club, the United Methodist Church, the Hilltop 4-H Club, and Guns-R-Us.

He is survived by his mother Julie, father Lynn Louden; brothers, Brody Lane Hitchcock and Luke Lynn Louden; grandparents, Randy and Kolinda Hitchcock of Alliance, great grandfather, Dorman Hitchcock, aunts and uncles, Ammie Bauer, Lacey and Bruce Cordell all of Alliance, and Jeremy and Lacy Hitchcock of Hemingford; cousins, Ashlynn, Kaylynn, Jayce, and Jayden Bauer, Gage and Kyah Cordell, Keagan and Emma Hitchcock, and his close friend, Crystal Pannell, among numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by great grandparents Donald and Erma Smith, and Margie Hitchcock.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Lucas officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Carnegie Arts Center, or a charity of the donor's choice.
