Sugar valley rally weekend has something for everyone

A busy weekend with many activities is upon us.

The annual Sugar Valley Antique Car rally is underway with a practice run on Friday, June first, and they start officially Saturday morning, June 2nd at 8:00am at Panhandle Coop. They return to Coop in the afternoon. Sunday they start downtown near the Knights of Columbus Hall on first avenue and return to Cozad's Antique Ford Garage in Gering beginning at 11am when the Gering Merchants host the return BBQ for everyone.


The All Star Volleyball and Football games are this weekend. The Airport Appreciation Day and Fly In is tomorrow at Heilig Field at Scotts Bluff Airport.

Camp Clark Days are underway in Bridgeport. The big parade among the Saturday highlights.

In Minatare 600 bike riders from several states will gather for the start of the annual Bike Ride Across Nebraska. The riders leave from Minatare Sunday morning.

Not one two circuses are in town. The Scottsbluff Firefighters are sponsoring the Carson and Barnes Circus at 900 Broadway this evening and tomorrow, and the annual Shine Circus is in Gering at the football field with two performances.

The annual arts and crafts festival will be set up at Frank Park in Scottsbluff both Saturday and Sunday.


And here at KNEB our May Beef Month wrap up BBQ on Friday, June first, from 11 until 1 pm for a free will offering will be given to Camp Scott.
