Union Bar, NTC combining to ship relief supplies to firefighters

The Union Bar and NTC trucking are accepting donations to assist firefighters battling large fires in Colorado. Union Bar owner Scott Swanson says he was feeling helpless regarding the damaging fires until he remembered NTC had taken trucks filled with supplies to other disaster areas, and contacted them about sending a truck to Colorado.

Swanson says they have had a lot of donations already, but they still have a lot of the truck to fill, and urges people to stop by and make a donation. Swanson suggests, water, chapstick, first aid kits, Gatarorade, and energy bars.

The truck will probably leave sometime Monday.
