Dino Kartsonakis to perform Sunday at Midwest Theater

Dino Kartsonakis

"America's Piano Showman", Dino Kartsonakis will perform live and in concert this Sunday evening at Midwest Theater in Scottsbluff.

Kartsonakis is an 8 time Gospel Music Association Dove Award winner, and is best known for the theme song from the 1981 motion picture "Chariots of Fire."

While the performance is a benefit for Summit Christian College, Kartsonakis tells KNEB News he will be performing a variety of different music. He says he will perform some of the music he has performed at Carnegie Hall, some classical music, sacred music from a project he did in Israel called "Miracles." And Kartsonakis will also perform "Chariots of Fire", which he says is always expected.

Kartsonakis says Sunday evening will be a "nice time to just sit back and relax, have fun and enjoy the blessings of the Lord through music."

The "Good Twins", two brothers who have ministered through music to churches around the world since 1958 will also appear with Kartsonakis. Tickets are on sale now at Midwest Theater, and can be purchased at the door, or online at MidwestTheater.com. Call 632-4311 for tickets.
