Arnold A. Wolski, 96

Arnold A. Wolski, 96, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Ft. Morgan, Colo. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the First Wyoming United Presbyterian Church with Reverend Steven Seng officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Morrill, Nebraska. A memorial has been established to the Torrington Senior Friendship Center. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and the casket will be open briefly prior to the service at the church. Arnold was born Nov. 7, 1916 in Hall County, Neb. the son of Franz and Minnie (Schwieger) Wolski where he grew up and received his early education. When he was a teenager his family moved to Morrill, where he graduated high school. Arnold married Esther Eichler in 1940 and he began farming in the Lingle, Wyo. area. In 1952 they moved to Lyman, where he farmed until 1975. In 1975 Arnold moved to Torrington, where he worked for the Farmer's State Bank as an Agricultural Representative until his retirement in 1989.

Arnold enjoyed music, dancing, playing pitch, gambling, watching sports, hunting, and fishing. He served on the Lyman school board for eleven years. He was in the top ten sugar beet growers and served as a Director at Farmer's State Bank.

Survivors include his daughters, Jean Fritzler and her husband Steve of Ft. Morgan, Colo., Debbie Bozzuto of Hampton Falls, N.H., and Lori Libsack and her husband Jerry of Chandler, Ariz.; grandson, Nick Libsack of Chandler; granddaughter, Ali Bozzuto of Hampton Falls; a sister-in-law; two nephews; and a niece. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Esther; brothers, Arthur and Edward; sister, Florence; an infant daughter; and son-in-law, Rick Bozzuto.
