Bluffs fireworks show is on again
The community of Scottsbluff has a public fireworks show again. Organizer Tracy Ford says he has received his state permit and the show at Western Nebraska Community College on the night of July Fourth is on again after a one year hiatus.
Ford says people are excited about the show, which will be much like it has been in the past. Ford says the show will once again have a cost of $10,000 and anyone wishing to help cover the cost can mail their donations to Scottsbluff Fireworks Fund, P.O. Box 271, Scottsbluff, NE. 69361
Parking lots at WNCC will open at 8:00 p.m. for free public viewing of the display. The fireworks presentation begins at approximately 9:15 or 9:20 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.
Absolutely no alcohol, firearms, or personally owned pyrotechnics are allowed on the premises. Additionally, College buildings and restrooms will not be open to the public.
