Sidney woman charged in stabbing
A Sidney woman has been charged with second degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony in a domestic dispute that resulted in injuries to a Sidney man Monday evening. 22 year old Alicia Green is being held in the Cheyenne County jail on 10% of $50,000 bond.
The Cheyenne County Attorney's office says Green is accused of stabbing Ronald Conger at a Sidney apartment. Green told Police Conger was getting his property out of the residence due to a protection order when he stole $20 that was on a table. The two argued and Green said Conger produced scissors and stabbed himself in the arm. Conger said Green stabbed him.
Conger was charged with obstructing an officer and is being held on 10% of $10,000 bond.
