Andrew Ryan Thomson, 27

Andrew Ryan Thomson, 27, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Scottsbluff on April 23, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff with Pastor David Anderson officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or to the donor's choice.

Andrew was born March 28, 1986 in Laramie, Wyoming to Michael and Robin (Summerville) Thomson. He attended school in Casper, WY and the Sacramento, CA area. Andrew graduated from high school in 2004.

At the time of Andrew's death he was employed by Vertex.

The greatest joy of his life was when his daughter, Adia, came to live with him in December 2012.
He enjoyed working outdoors, spending time with his friends and family, and having coffee with his grandpa, Bob, and friends. His friends described him as having the biggest heart of anybody and he would climb a mountain to help someone if they were in need.

Survivors include his daughter, Adia; mother, Robin Thomson; father, Michael Thomson; brothers, Paul and John Thomson; grandparents, Bob Summerville, Carol Werger and Gloria Thomson; many aunts, uncles and cousins; nephew, Dezin Thomson; special friend, Dona Shaffer; and close family friends, Steve and Bonnie Wilson.

Preceding Andrew in death were his grandfathers, Bill Thomson and Darrel Werger; and uncle, John Thomson.
