Francesko "Frankie" Laudes Brown, 55, Scottsbluff

Francesko "Frankie" Laudes Brown, 55, of Scottsbluff passed away September 7, 2013 in Papillion, Nebraska surrounded by his family.

Frankie's Funeral Mass will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Phil Flott officiating and burial will follow at High Butte Cemetery. Friends may call at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel from 1-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, with the Rosary being prayed at 5:00 p.m.

Frankie was born August 28, 1958 in Bridgeport, Nebraska to Pete and Elaisa (Romero) Brown. He attended Meriden School at ESU 13 in Scottsbluff. He lived and stood by his mother until she passed away in 2000 upon which time he went to live with his sister, Maggie and brother-in-law, Julio. In 2008, Frank Clark, his daytime caregiver, came into his life. Many thanks to Frank for the 6 years of service he provided to Frankie, who always called him "El Hombre" because Frank was "his" name.

Frankie will be remembered by his outgoing personality, contagious laughter, sense of humor, his love for life and his ability to love and change the lives of everyone he came into contact with for the good. Those who knew him will remember his love of dancing, music, sports, food and practical jokes. Frankie only saw the good in people and he hand the most amazing view of the world. Even if it was just a passing smile on the street, everyone who met Frankie felt loved by him.

He is survived by siblings, Maggie (Julio) Bernal, Doreen (Bobby) Urdiales, Eugenia (Joe) Campos, Beni (Terry) Stroh, Eulalia Narvais, Frances (Guy) Clements, Margarita (Larry) Cooper, and Pete (Rita) Brown; and 37 loving nephews and nieces.

He is joining in heaven his parents; grandparents, Laudes and Eulalia Romero; and brother-in-law, Louie Narvais.

Frankie was truly the heart and soul of his family and he will be greatly missed by all whoever came into contact with him.
