New science pod greet students at WNCC
Enrollment has stabilized at the three WNCC campuses according to preliminary figures prior to the start of classes on Wednesday. Vice President of Student Services Sue Yowell says the leveling off of enrollment to around the figures from last year is to be expected.
Yowell says the biggest change is the complete remodeling of the science, including not only new labs but a collaborative learning area that was not there before.
The dorms are completely full, with some students even tripling up.
New students had two days of orientation this week and international students were in a week or two early, depending on whether they were from English speaking countries or not.
