Western Sugar announces new President & CEO
Western Sugar's Board of Directors has announced the hiring of Rodney Perry as its new CEO and President.
Perry comes to Western Sugar from Bunge Unlimited, a global agri-business and food company. Perry was based in Geneva, Switzerland and will start his new duties at Western Sugar beginning April 21st.
Perry has 24 years of agribusiness and food experience. Perry has been with Bunge since 2000, serving in various positions, most recently as Vice President for Food and Ingredients in Europe.
Perry's appointment follows a four months search process. He will succeed Indur Mathur, who led the grower-owned Cooperative since its founding in 2002. He announced his retirement from Western Sugar last year.
