Connie J. Kropp, 74, Scottsbluff
Connie J. Kropp, 74, of Scottsbluff, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Heritage Estates in Gering. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013 at Emmanuel Congregational Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor John Adams officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Bluestem neighborhood at Heritage Estates in honor of the exemplary care provided Connie, to Heritage Estates Activities Department and to Emmanuel Congregational Church. Visitation will be 1-6:00 p.m. Sunday at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel.
Connie was born July 19, 1939 at Bridgeport, NE to George and Katherine (Sieb) Fritzler. She grew up and received her education in Bayard. She married Robert L. Kropp November 22, 1959 at Salem Congregational Church in Scottsbluff. They made their home in Gering. Upon her retirement from Simmons, Olsen Law Offices in 1995 she moved to a home that she and Bob designed in Leisure Living Village in Scottsbluff.
She was a member of Emmanuel Congregational Church.
Survivors include Bob, her husband of 54 years; daughter Cynthia (Thomas) Briggs, Scottsbluff, NE; sons, Robert, Jr. (Paula) Kropp, New Smyrna Beach, FL and Rodney (Stacia) Kropp of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren: Robert Kropp III, Coopersburg, PA, Nicole Kropp, New Smyrna Beach, FL, Katherine Briggs, Houston, TX, Thomas Briggs, Scottsbluff, NE, Adam Kropp and Johnathan Kropp of Omaha, NE; brother Delbert Fritzler, Gering, NE and sisters: Ruby Blitz and Kathleen Keller, Scottsbluff; sisters-in-law Mary Ellen Kropp and Donna (Reiny) Feil, Scottsbluff and Judy (Rick) Meter Gering and brother-in-law: James Kropp of California; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters
