The Riverside Discovery Center today received nearly $250 in food and cash from Scottsbluff Main Street Market employees and customers as part of their Jingle Paws animal enrichment drive. Linda Everhart, the front end supervisor for the store, said the project began a week and a half ago to help everybody get in the holiday spirit and it took off.

Everhart says the cash donated will help RDC officials buy enrichments items for the animals that aren't provided during the Jingle Paws project. Everhart says it was also a real learning experience for everyone regarding what the animals need.

RDC Executive Director Anne James graciously accepted the items and thanked Everhart, her employees, and the customers for their efforts.
