Gertrudes "Trudy" Tarin, 62, Lyman

Gertrudes "Trudy" Tarin, 62, of Lyman, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 4, 2013, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.

Her funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Mitchell with Father Thomas Gudipalli and Father Phil Flott officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Morrill.

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. A rosary will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com

Trudy was born January 14, 1951, at Brownsville, Texas to Cipriano and Ramona Garcia. She received her education at Falk High School. She was a migrant worker in the Lyman area where she met and married Isidro Tarin on August 25, 1969.

She has four loving son, Isidro Jr., Jerry, Guadelupe, Ramon and (sons, Geronimo, David, Alejandro; daughter, Guadalupe; and nephew, Jose Tarin that she also loved and raised.) We will miss her dearly.

Trudy touched the lives of many people and children while working for the Head Start Program for 36 years.

Survivors include her husband, Isidro Tarin; sons, Isidro (Shawnetta) Tarin Jr., Jerry (Marcy) Tarin, Guadelupe Tarin, and Ramon Tarin; grandchildren, Pamela, Christina, Athena, Stefani, Jerry Jr., Leyla, Shaunisi, and Isidro III Tarin, and Austyn and Quentyn Kuklish; brothers, Esequel, and Guadelupe; sisters, Elizabeth and Vangy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is her parents, Cipriano and Ramona Garcia; and brother-in-law, Jose Tarin Chavez.
