United Way Duck Dash planning to be in the river again

The United Way of Western Nebraska officially kicked off sales of ducks Wednesday for the annual "Rubber Duck Dash", which will be held on Saturday, September 15th. This year's dash will be held at the Trails West YMCA Camp behind the Riverside Zoo and Discovery Center, and special events committee co-chair Brady Shaul says they are hoping to actually have the race in the river again this year.

As Shaul mentioned, this year's Grand Prize is a red 2012 Chevy Camaro convertible, donated by Team Auto Center in Scottsbluff. The Camaro and the 2012 Honda 4WD ATV donated in part by Sandberg Honda are both on display this week at the United Way of Western Nebraska booth at the Scotts Bluff County Fair.
