City of Kimball warns of fraudulent calls

The City of Kimball has been made aware of several businesses and residents receiving calls from a phone number from outside the area with the caller telling customers that their electricity bill is past due.

The caller goes on to state that if they don't pay their balance in full they will be have their electricity disconnected and that payment must be made via Western Union. The City of Kimball does not request payment via Western Union.

The recent calls are coming from the following phone number: (402) 915-9150; but callers may use different phone numbers.

THIS IS A FRAUDULENT CALL!

Residents and businesses may stop by or contact the City of Kimball Offices at (308) 235-3639 if they have any questions or concerns about their bill.
