Mary Elizabeth Fenimore, 94, Scottsbluff

Mary Elizabeth Fenimore, 94, of Scottsbluff, died February 3, 2014 at the Residency Care Center. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff with Rev. Matt Fowler officiating. Private inurnment will precede at Fairview Cemetery here. In preference to flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Jolliffe Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. Her obituary may be viewed online at where online condolences may be left for family.

Mary, the daughter of W.O. and Rachel French, and loving wife of William Fenimore, passed away after a brief illness. She and Bill were married for 72 years.

During World War Two, Mary lived in San Diego, San Francisco, New York and finally Williamsburg, Virginia, where Bill was in training for the invasion of Japan. She was a homemaker, a member of the Methodist Church and loved to travel and entertain. Until recently, she still enjoyed playing and winning at bridge.

She is survived by her husband, her son William Fenimore, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Camp, two brothers and two sisters.

Mary will be greatly missed by her husband, family and friends.
