Century Link service restored
Century Link is reporting that a phone outage that affected customers in western Nebraska has been repaired.
Spokesman Karl Bieber told KNEB News as of 2:30 p.m. service was restored. This outage affected many areas of the region.
Bieber said the problem was caused by a malfunction in Telco equipment at the main office in Scottsbluff that serves many of the outlying communities.
Bieber said the outage did not affect internet service.
