KNEB Sales Manager named Panhandle BPW Woman of the Year
KNEB Sales Manager Kendra Feather was announced Wednesday as the Panhandle Business and Professional Women's "Woman of the Year" at the annual awards luncheon in Scottsbluff. Kendra was noted for her passionate role in the community, having been involved in Thanksgiving in the Valley since 2003. She is a volunteer for the Scotts Bluff County Volunteer Center and is President of the Board. She has served on the United Way Board of Directors, the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, the Festival of Hope Public Relations Committee, and a host of fundraising efforts.
Kendra has been with KNEB for 14 years, and has been Sales Manager since 2008. KNEB Operations Director Bill Boyer said "We are so proud of Kendra. She has a big heart and has an amazing personality. She is always selfishly looking out for everybody before herself. I cannot think of a more deserving candidate for BPW woman of the year!"
This year's BPW Young Careerist Award went to Brittany Kleager, an accountant at Platte Valley Companies who's community involvement includes serving as Treasurer for the Leadership Scottsbluff Board of Directors, Treasurer for the Summer Program for Handicapped Children, and as a member of the Scotts Bluff County Emergency Response Team. She is also involved in NEXT Young Professionals, Kiwanis, and Panhandle BPW.
The Scottsbluff Country Club was named as Business of the Year for demonstrating exceptional responsiveness to the personal and professional needs of female employees. The Country Club currently employs 19 women, and has contributed to the employment, advancement and recognition of women in several aspects.
KNEB congratulates ALL of the BPW annual award winners.
